Retired, worked as a Die Maker Locksmith, & Firefighter.  Performs as part of "A & L Entertainment".  Hobbies include photography, building equipment for magic shows and all sorts of wood craft items.

RING REPORTER

Jeff is the "Resident Magician" of The Woodruff-Fontaine House (built 1871) which is located on "Millionaires Row" in Memphis, TN.  He has been a student of magic for more than 50 years with a deep concentration in historical magic from the 19th century. He is a 6-time, consecutive award winner (2014 - 2019) of the SMMURFFF competition, which is usually held every Nov in Memphis, TN.  His goal is to promote magic and inspire audiences of all ages to experience the "wonder of life" using this centuries old art form.

The efforts of Paul Frankel (aka Professor-Q-Ball) in promoting three-cushion billiards in the United States have made him one of the most recognized and admired players in the billiard community. In 2016 Paul was awarded the Order of Merlin by the IBM for 25 consecutive years of service and support.

Ron Gilman


Ron has been a continuous member of Ring 16 and the IBM since 1979. He served as president of the Ring in 1986. Since 1997, he has been a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. When he meets with his staff at the beginning of each week, the meeting begins with a "Magic Monday" bit of wizardry.

Kathy is the Communications Director for a local country club. When she is not working, she is also an artist, photographer, magic-assistant to magician, Jeffrey Day. She has been a member of the IBM since August 2015.

Bill is a media assistant at the Northwest Mississippi Community College DeSoto Center Library. Bill loves all magic and has been a member of Society of Memphis Magicians since 2006. In 2007 Bill won the Novice SMMURFFF Award. Bill Specializes in close-up and parlor magic. In his spare time Bill collects and photographs vintage toys which he showcases on his toy blog, Weird Fantastic Toy Adventures.
